Hawaiian Training Vacation

A few weeks ago an idea popped in my head.  And if you've been reading me long enough you'll know that dangerous things happen when I get ideas in my head.  My idea? A Hawaiian training camp.  Picture this: you, me, our closest twitter/blogging buddies...all staying in a massive house together (room for 20, with a pool, 5 bathrooms, two kitchens, a huge yard and lanai) just steps from the beach. We swim, we bike, we run (or, if you're just a runner, you can relax by the pool!).  Swim in crystal clear waters at some of my favorite beaches (swim with turtles, anyone?).  Bike along the coast and through the pineapple fields. Run on the beach, run up mountains, run through hidden rainforest trails.  Share training and racing trips and talk story while we're recovering in between workouts. Sounds like an awesome time, right?

So, back to my idea. I'd like to see how many of you are interested in doing this, in February or March.  People of all training backgrounds welcome. We can accommodate. I've found a killer house that would be as cheap as $35 a night (depending on how many people come). Of course you'd need to pay your own airfare, but we'll keep other costs to a minimum. Healthy food from Costco that we cook together. One big rental van. Anyways, if this is something you're interested in, shoot me an email (frayedlaces@gmail.com) and we can all start communicating about dates and details.
