- Training. Lots and lots of training. My new coach John is toughening me up!
- Slimming. I've started a "too chub for a sub (10:30)" campaign in my house and by cutting out booze and only having foods around that I have to cook I've already dropped 4lbs since returning
- Working. Good God. Three manuscripts in the works, a mega-mega grant application, and a 45-min presentation to my entire department next week. I'm in over my head, but it will all get done
- Working (part 2). My research assistantship involves long days in the hot sun. I've been picking up a lot of extra days since I've been back, which cuts down on the time I have to get all my writing done.
- Working (part 3). My part-time tutoring gig is exploding with hours, which is great for my pocketbook but hard on my schedule
- Car issues. A defect in my car's stop lamp switch means I have to use a screwdriver to switch gears and I have no brake lights. Had a joyous half day at the dealer yesterday in which they took 4 hours to tell me
"yep, it's that switch, but sorry, we don't have the part in stock. Come back in 10 days." - Bike issues. I'm told my replacement frame is on the way. We'll see about that. The whole fiasco has led to an interesting opportunity, though, which I'll fill you guys in on if it comes to fruition.
- Phone. I just got a new Droid Bionic. It's supposed to be the latest and the greatest but I'm still trying to figure this thing out (like why it keeps eating emails and will only show notifications for one of my gmail accounts).
- Sleep. I need more. So, so tired.....
